lost and foundSafe4 Security Group AS has purchased the company Bck2me, the world’s fastest lost and found system. This system is based on the fact that the finder of a lost item quickly can  notify the owner by scanning a QR code that the asset is tagged with.

-We are pleased that Safe4 finds the product and method interesting and that they see a continuation and a future in using our method in their future plans, says Bjørn Horgen, CEO of Bck2me, who now switches business address from Drammen to Oslo.

– Safe4 offers smart solutions to actors targeting the consumer market. Our business is based on subscription services within Security, Smart House and Care Solutions. We believe that we can further develop and tailor the subscription-based bck2me concept into our offerings to the market. Therefore, we are very pleased that Bjørn Horgen will continue his work under our roof, says Bjørge Kraft, CEO of Safe4.

Quick and easy link between finder and owner of lost goods

When a person finds a lost item, he can scan a sticker marked with a QR code. The QR code leads him to a website that guides him through the process of reporting that the lost property has been recovered. The system alerts the item’s owner telling him that the asset has been found. The asset owner responds to the inquiry, and the system puts the finder and the owner in contact with each other via SMS and exchange of phone numbers.

Subscription service for individuals and businesses

The Bck2me solution is equally suitable for individuals as well as companies who want control of their equipment. Companies can get their logo on the QR labels and appoint an administrator for the lost and foud. The Solution is 100% anonymous. Those who find something have no way of knowing who owns the item. For access cards, keys and computers with sensitive information, this is important.
