Norlandia and Safe4 Care enters strategic partnership: Making It safer to live at home – for more people
Aug 13, 2025

In response to growing pressure on health and care services, Norlandia and Safe4 Care are entering into a partnership to offer comprehensive in-home safety services. The goal is clear: more people should be able to live safely at home – for longer – with support from both people and technology.
Norway is facing a care challenge. More older adults wish to remain in their own homes, and public services are making a formidable effort to meet their needs. At the same time, many people living alone – and their relatives – are seeking safety and support earlier, before public services are necessarily involved.
To meet this need, Norlandia and Safe4 Care are joining forces to offer safety services that combine nursing, practical assistance, and digital technology. The aim is to provide everyday security, strengthen independence, and bring peace of mind – for both the user and their family.
At the core of the partnership is the Confi.care platform, which connects sensors, safety technology, and alert systems with service delivery. Family members, healthcare professionals, and service providers all have access to a unified interface – tailored to the individual’s needs and desired safety level.

The solution is supported by an EN-certified Alarm Receiving Centre, where operators are available 24/7 to handle incoming alarms and assist both people living alone and their relatives in emergencies. The Alarm Receiving Centre acts as a vital link between technology, family, and services – ensuring rapid response when needed.
We need to think differently about how we organise care. Both private and public players have a role to play. Our ambition is to help more people live safely and with dignity in their own homes,” - Yngvar Tov Herbjørnssønn, CEO of NHC Group.
Through the partnership, Norlandia will offer nursing visits, cleaning, and meal services – delivered where needed and activated via Confi.care. Safe4 Care’s technology, including motion sensors, digital supervision, personal alarms, and follow-up tools, ensures that changes in a person’s situation are detected – enabling a rapid response. The key to delivering higher quality in line with rising expectations, while reducing resource use, lies in solutions like the one this collaboration will now implement.
With Norlandia on board, we gain a partner with extensive experience in home-based services. Together, we are lowering the threshold for safety – from technological alerts to practical help at the doorstep. Confi.care makes it possible to organise and scale services without sacrificing human connection,” - Bjørge Kraft, CEO of Safe4 Care
The partnership also includes an ownership stake: Norlandia has acquired a minority stake in Safe4 Care through its parent company Safe4 Security Group.
